Fourth Friday Downtown Block Party – Leduc
Friday, August 28th, 2020 from 12-7 PM

Downtown Leduc is the place to be on August 28th! Main Street Leduc is hosting their monthly Fourth Friday Block Party, and you do not want to miss out on a super fun day filled with activities. In addition to enjoying sidewalk sales and live entertainment, you’ll also have the chance to win some amazing prizes by participating in a free chalk art contest. August Fourth Friday Block Party
Movie in the Park – Devon
Friday, August 28th, 2020 at 8:30 PM

After a fun afternoon at the block party, head over to Devon, AB for a night of outdoor cinema! The movie will start at dusk on August 28th, and this cool event is taking place at Secret Park in Voyageur Park. Make sure to pack the lawn chairs, blankets, and some snacks to munch on while you enjoy watching Disney/Pixar’s Onward. Please note that capacity will be capped at a maximum of 200 people to ensure compliance with AHS guidelines, so seating will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Cherry U-Pick at Sunnybrook Hill Orchard – Sunnybrook
August 20th – September 7th, 2020

What better way to celebrate the end of summer than by picking your own cherries from a local orchard? Sunnybrook Hill Orchard has their U-Pick open for the season from August 20th – September 7th, offering you the unique experience to pick and enjoy fresh, locally grown cherries! Refresh and refuel after you finish up in the orchard by enjoying a slice of cherry pie, ice cream, and beverages that are also available for sale.

Shot in the Dark Nite Golf Tournament – Leduc
Friday, September 11th, 2020

If you haven’t experienced how much fun night golf is yet, this is the perfect opportunity to do so! Karma Group is hosting their annual Shot in the Dark Nite Golf Tournament at the Leduc Golf & Country Club on September 11th. Experience 9 holes of glow-in-the-dark fun, food, and a silent auction. Wicked cool prizes are also up for grabs including eight $10,000 Hole in One prizes, a Vehicle Hole in One, and prizes for the best dressed glow apparel. Tuesday, September 15th, 2020 from 5-9 PM

Blackjacks Roadhouse is where you want to be to see the best burnout competition in the Leduc Region. Join us on September 15th & spin those tires! Distilling 101: The Basics of Spirit Production – Nisku
Sunday, September 20th, 2020 from 9 AM – 5 PM

Are you curious about how exactly your favorite spirits and liqueurs are made? Rig Hand Distillery is hosting a full-day workshop on September 20th for craft spirit lovers. Learn about the basics of spirit production and gain a basic understanding of key processes like mashing, fermentation, distillation, and dilution.
