Food, fun, laughter, and more – that’s what you can expect out of the City of Leduc’s End-of-Summer Events! Make your way over to Alexandra Park on August 25 from 5-8 PM for…

> Mini train rides (around the Multiway Trail in Alexandra Park)
> Fitset ninja obstacle course
> Free community BBQ

But that’s not all… What was once known as “Rock the Rails” is being reborn as “Leduc Skate Jam” – and it’s going down on August 27 from 2-4 PM! Bring your boards to the Leduc Skate Park for an afternoon full of skating fun – follow event partners Rumor Skate & Snow + House of Wheels on Facebook for more event info.

WHERE: Renewed Resilience
Renewed Resilience is teaming up with local artist Michelle Schwengler on August 27! Make your way over to Renewed Resilience from 4 – 8 PM to view Michelle’s mental health artwork series and participate in an interactive discussion about mental health. Light snacks and coffee will be provided, this event is FREE to attend!

Celebrate the end of summer with a stunning fireworks display! The Town of Devon is putting on a fireworks show on August 28 at 9:30 PM… The detonation site site will be located on the Imperial Oil site across from Discovery Place – expect the show to last approx. 15 min. Note that parking is limited in the area.

Food trucks at the Rolly View Community Hall may have taken a short break in August, but they are BACK! Bring your own chairs, blankets, tailgates, etc. and enjoy tasty eats from a different food truck every week – the end-of-summer lineup includes:

WHERE: Century Mile Racetrack & Casino
If you haven’t been to a derby… Now is your chance! Get “off to the races” on September 11 at Century Mile Racetrack & Casino as they hold the 92nd Running of the Canadian Derby. It’s a celebration of some of the finest Thoroughbred racing in Western Canada, and is sure to be filled with excitement, entertainment, and fashion. Post time is 2:50 PM!

WHERE: Karma Concerts’ KOZ Amphitheater
Experience a live, adults-only summer concert at Karma Concerts‘ NEW outdoor amphitheater! It’s an “adult’s fieldtrip” you don’t want to miss… Tickets include roundtrip transportation to and from the event venue (pick-up and drop-off in Leduc) + engaging live entertainment featuring The Prairie States. What’s better? There’s also bar service + food trucks + group seating available on-site!

It’s Main Street Leduc‘s final Third Thursday event of the summer… Make your way to downtown Leduc on September 16 from 4 – 8 PM for an evening of Instagram-worthy fun!

WHERE: Black Stone Community Rink
More live music! Black Stone Community Rink is the place to be on September 16… Experience a free-to-attend community concert! It’s going to be an evening full of live music, food and community fun – bring your own lawn chairs/blankets and grab a bite to eat from the food trucks that will be on-site!
WHEN: September 18 (11 AM – 4 PM | 5:30 PM – Late)
WHERE: Rolly View Community Hall
The Rolly View Community Association has a full day of fun lined up for you September 16! Start your day off by experiencing an indoor/outdoor market at the Rolly View Community Hall… This is your chance to support local and shop from over 25 regional vendors!
The big event starts at 5:30 PM though… It’s the RVCA’s first annual Pitmaster’s Fundraiser Dinner! Your evening will start in a beautiful outdoor tent, with local spirits and wines available for purchase. There’s no way you’ll be leaving hungry, because the iconic Mel Chmilar Jr with Dark Side of the Grill will be serving up an authentic, 100% wood-fired Canadian BBQ experience. Music from the Borch Brothers will entertain you throughout dinner, followed by a live performance, and a dance to finish the night off! There’s going to be door prizes, a silent auction, cash bar, 50/50 raffle, and so much more… Get your tickets soon though, the event is already over 50% sold out!
