Alexandra Outdoor Pool

The Alexandra Outdoor Pool is Leduc’s outdoor oasis on a hot summer day. Experience public swims, lane swimming, aquatic fitness classes, Red Cross swimming lessons, pool rentals, and special events. The Spray Park is next door to the Alex Pool, and is free to use.

Alexandra Park

Alexandra Park is located just off 50th St, adjacent to the Civic Centre and beside the Alexandra Outdoor Pool and Spray ParkExperience great views of City Hall, picnic tables, a playground, and a fountain. The park is also a popular place in the winter when the trails are lit up and the pond is cleared for skating and pond hockey.

Biking in Devon

Biking enthusiasts from all over the world know Devon for its spectacular Bike Trails. Whether you enjoy a leisurely bike ride, a road cycle, or are looking for a more challenging trek, routes for all skill levels exist in Devon. Voyageur Park features a unique bike skills area, dirt-jump park, pump-track, and flow-trail near the river valley. In addition to the river valley trails, the Town maintains approx. 10 km of multi-use paved trails that form meandering park-to-park connections.

Centennial Park

Located on Athabasca Avenue, Centennial Park is a beautiful setting for a picnic, recreational activities, or even wedding/family photos. Experience a gazebo, picnic tables, benches, volleyball court, and outdoor skating rink. The Town of Devon thanks the local Bloom 2000 Gardening Society for maintaining the wide assortment of flower beds in this park.

Center Park

Clifford E. Lee Sanctuary

Located 5 mins north of Devon on Hwy 60, this 300-acre nature preserve is open to the public year-round and contains marshes, meadows, pine, and aspen woodland. Experience natural paths, boardwalks, numerous viewing points, and an impressive display of various forms of flora and fauna.

Cross Country Skiing in Devon

The Devon Nordic Ski Club packs, sets, and maintains 10 km of groomed trails ranging in difficulty from beginner to expert. Experience ski trails winding through the scenic North Saskatchewan River valley. Starting at the Nordic building, the ski trails lead you through the Lions Campground, onto the Devon Golf Course, and back to the Ski Chalet.

Devon Community Pool

Experience the Devon outdoor swimming pool – a 25m community pool open from mid-May to the end of August. Red Cross and Royal Life swimming lessons are offered throughout the summer months. The pool is also available for private rental.

Devon Dog Park

Let your four legged family members run around at this 3 acre off-leash park! You’ll find two fenced areas; one for the smaller or more timid canines, and a large area designed to provide ample room for distancing. Picnic tables are also available for two-legged visitors.

Devon River Valley Trails

Experience 24 km of pristine trails running along the North Saskatchewan River. The trails connect Voyageur Park in Devon with Parkland County to the north, and Leduc County to the south. This stretch will soon become North America’s longest metropolitan park trail system and part of the Trans Canada Trail, spanning over 88 km and covering 7,300 hectares.

Enjoy hot summer days at Devon’s splash park – a great place for families to enjoy the outdoors and stay cool. Experience a park-like setting with picnic tables, large trees that offer shade, and grassy areas. Plenty of parking is available right near the spray park, which is open from May long weekend to mid-September.

Beat the heat at Calmar’s spray park! Engberg Spray Park is located east of 47th St and north of 50th Ave behind the Calmar Curling Club and Mike Karbonik Arena.

Field of Dreams Ball Park

Locals and visitors alike have enjoyed the Field of Dreams Ball Park for countless summers. Experience three fenced slo-pitch diamonds, one baseball diamond, shaled infields, and grass outfields. Devon is currently preparing a new and improved ball park for the 2021 season, with an additional diamond, expanded parking, and more amenities to come.

Fred Johns Park

On nearly 35 acres of land, Fred Johns Park is connected to the Multiway Trail. Experience a playground, ball diamonds, picnic areas, year-round fishing on the Leduc Reservoir, skating, and disc golf.

John Bole Athletics Park

John Bole co-founded the Leduc Track Club, served as a past president with Athletics Alberta, and helped organize the 2001 World Track and Field Championships. He also chaired the 2008 Alberta Winter Games, which took place in Leduc. Experiences available at John Bole Athletics Park include a football field, soccer fields, and athletics facilities.

Jubilee Park Campground offers visitors a weekend get-away without the long drive. Located just 15 minutes south of Calmar on Wizard Lake, this is a great place to visit for the weekend.

K-9 Off-leash Dog Park

The K9 Off-Leash Dog Park is located on the east side of William F. Lede Park, behind the LRC on Black Gold Drive. Experience 40 acres of parkland with your furry friend(s), mixed with trails weaving through forest and wetlands. This park is very popular with Leduc residents, even drawing visitors from Edmonton because it is fenced. Dog bags are supplied.

Leduc Boat Club


The Leduc Boat Club began operating in 2004 in preparation for the 2005 World Masters Games. Experience the multi-paddling sports focus of the Telford Lake Alberta Training Centre Society.

Meadowview Dinosaur Park

This unique playground was inspired by the discovery of a Hadrosaur fossil in Meadowview in 2013. Hypacrosaurus (Hadrosaur) lived about 68 million years ago. This important finding is currently being stored at the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta. Experience the towering dinosaur tree slide, dinosaur skeleton structures, and bouncing dinosaur eggs.

Telford Lake

Telford Lake is an extremely popular recreational area adjacent to William F. Lede Park, and connected to the Multiway Trail System. Voyageur Park
