Where to Eat…
It’s tough to talk about the regional food scene without mentioning Chartier. This rustic, French-Canadian restaurant is widely considered to be one of the best restaurants in AB and beyond… In fact, it was recently featured on Food Network Canada’s Big Food Bucket List!
You can’t go wrong with any meal at Chartier, but weekend brunch here is a truly special experience. Our tried-and-true brunch favorite is the Eggs Donovan – two medium poached Morinville Colony eggs + smoked, slow-cooked brisket piled high on toasted house-made sourdough. This tasty dish is paired with cornichons, brown butter hollandaise, and smashed baby potatoes… C’est magnifique!
Where to Drink…
This artist-owned craft brewery in Beaumont is THE place to cool off with a refreshing beverage on a hot summer day. With a truly incredible line-up of craft beers, tasty eats, and a laid-back atmosphere, your next visit to Sea Change‘s taproom is sure to be a great one.
Sea Change is always coming out with new and exciting brews, but a few of our tried-and-true favorites include… The Wolf (perfectly balanced with citrus and hops), Prairie Fairy (a fruity wheat ale meant for summer sippin’) and Irish Red Ale (easy-drinking, well-rounded, and silky smooth). Enjoy a beer flight on their beautiful patio, and pair it with any of the delicious snacking options found on their Mexican-themed food menu.
