🥬 Just popped in to Vertical Roots Leduc recently and wow — talk about a breath of fresh air!
.
We got the inside scoop on how this awesome local team is growing super fresh greens year-round — hydroponic style! From seed to harvest, their process is super efficient and totally inspiring. And the best part? It’s all happening right here locally just outside of Calmar.
.
We left feeling energized, hopeful, and kinda hungry for a salad, not gonna lie (I got mine ready when I got home and the lettuce and basil combo required no dressing or anything else added, so fresh!). Huge shoutout to Tess and Colin for their passion towards local food production — sustainably, smartly, and with a whole lot of heart.
.
