Hosted by the Culinary Tourism Alliance, the Taste of Place Summit is a national gathering bringing together local and national destination leaders, chefs, producers, and marketers from across Canada to celebrate and advance culinary and agri-tourism.

Attendees can expect immersive learning journeys, thought-provoking discussions during main stage programming and plenty of networking along the way. For the 2026 year, Edmonton, Alberta is the host destination, with tours being offered to Leduc County and Strathcona County—offering a dynamic blend of urban energy and natural beauty for Summit attendees to enjoy.

What to Expect

DAY 1: You will be inspired with a day of exploring the region through a variety of immersive learning journeys, each highlighting local culinary, cultural, and tourism experiences at unique locations with one of the following options:

Explore Edmonton Urban Tour;
Edmonton Region Rural Tour;
Strathcona County;
Leduc County

DAY 2: You will enjoy a full day of thought-provoking speakers, engaging workshops, and hands-on activities designed to spark ideas and showcase the region’s vibrant offerings.
