Leduc County Scavenger Hunt

APRIL 1-30, 2021

There’s no better time than now for new discoveries! Even better, Leduc County has come up with a family-friendly scavenger hunt to help you do exactly that. Complete clues and challenges as you explore our beautiful region, here’s how:
🕵️‍♀️ View the Scavenger Hunt Map to find out where challenge locations can be found throughout Leduc County
🏃‍♀️ Go to that location + submit an answer for each challenge using this online form
📨 Some locations require 10-second video submissions via email
🖐 Complete 5 challenges to win a family prize!

Trek around Telford Lake

TELFORD LAKE TRAILS (LEDUC, AB)

Spring has sprung – especially around Telford Lake! Make the most of the warm weather by taking a spring break stroll in this picturesque part of Leduc. Off-trail adventures will likely ensue, so make sure to bring boots (spring melt = muddy areas around the lake). Spring is an excellent time for bird-watching at Telford, so keep an eye on the sky for birds migrating back for the summer, and a camera nearby to snap some quick pics.

Did you know Telford Lake has ten interpretive signs that can be found at different points along the lake trail? Turn your outdoor outing into an educational “Easter Hunt” by finding these signs and learning about the diversity of species in the area.
